The bracket did not have to be changed. Right on top of the mount. My initial thought was that this would take a lot more effort after watching several youtube videos. Perfect fit for 1993 Ford F250. This IDI is 3 points. I had a hard time getting it installed properly and what to do. It was a direct fit. It took less than 20 minutes for everything to be reinstalled. That sounds like every project you do on an old car though.
