Just what I needed to fix my 2003 Silverado's windshield wipers that wouldn't turn off. Installation was simple with the help of some online videos, and it came at a great price.
(It appears that this is a fairly common issue. ) ) The dealer demanded $75 for the part, plus the cost of installation. br>br>With $30 and 15 minutes of my time, I was able to get my wipers to work properly again. This is one of those fixes that almost anyone can perform. You don't need a mechanic, and I'm sure you'll be able to spend the $100 you saved on something more worthwhile.
This fixed the problem with the windshield wipers not stopping. Until you go on a long trip in dry weather, it doesn't sound so bad. This was a semi-successful attempt. br> easy fix.
On my 2003 Silverado, this was a perfect match for the OEM parts. It performs as expected. I am extremely pleased with it and would purchase it again.
My wipers would not turn off unless I pulled the fuse, which was fixed with this part. A 2003 GMC Yukon XL was the vehicle in question. I watched a YouTube video on how to do it and it worked perfectly. It took about an hour of my time and probably saved me a couple hundred dollars over going to the store.
Excellent product with excellent quality.
This part was just delivered today, and I replaced the old one. My silverado is from 2003. It ran once and then came to a complete stop, refusing to turn on. To make sure it wasn't the motor, I reinstalled the old part. That was not the case. Later, I'll try to tweak a few things, and I'll update the review accordingly.
