Would it be possible for you to confirm if this is a spare part for a VW Golf assembly in Brazil, model 2005?

Normally it opens and closes, but I have stopped hearing the sound when closing the car and that the locks lower on their own when the vehicle is started.

This is a great price on a decent product

Installation is a little labor intensive, since you have to disassemble the part for this small latch to be installed. The only issue is that a spring previously attached to the original latch must be transferred to the new one. Since the spring is not shown in the Amazon photos, I was prepared. I am sure that it will last me at least half as long as the original, and it will still be running strong long after the car is.

This door handle works fine, it fits the passenger front door of the 2010 VW Jetta. The only issue with this product is not necessarily the features of this product, but rather the two screws holding the actuator firmly in place. They need a 6-metre sized screw bit to do the job. There is no doubt that you will.

An unlocked door causes a 00929 code to be generated

After the item was installed, the actuator no longer had a locking issue. However, then a code 00929 appeared in the system. Other faults like a stiff or seized mechanism have been ruled out and the mechanism seems to operate as it should.
