One of the screws in the housing was missing, and part of the part was broken

There is a problem with the manual release and inspection reveals that it is damaged and does not work properly. It is installed and I cannot release it and I am unable to open the liftgate. Returning it for a refund is not feasible since I cannot take it off. The rear of my Tahoe can no longer be used because of this product, and I am very bummed out about it.

I fixed a problem with my rear lift gate that had The GM marking on the inside of the lift gate in the spot where the holes need to be drilled to release the lift gate when it won't open makes it worth noting. There was a sense that they knew that this was going to.
