3 stars for installation The piece has nothing to do with it at all I have a F150 that has a third door that goes inside--but I can't find anywhere to mount it As far as the Ford F150 is concerned, this is just "how it is made" In fact, I have a shop manual as well as helpful videos on youtube if you don't have the manual. So, I would give it a 1 out of 10 for "easy to install" but that is not quite fair as the "hard to install" is Ford. The issue at hand This door is designed in a particular way.

I was very happy with the result. Since I had previously replaced them with used ones from a wrecked truck, installation wasn't as difficult as I had expected. They didn't last very long because they were as old as mine. The one for the passneger side will probably also break soon, but since they were $60, I'll probably wait until this one breaks. The 2001 F250 7 was for this. I took a chance on the 3rd driver upper cable, it looked the same as the original but it didn't say that it would fit but it did work on this vehicle as the original so they may wish to update their product information.
