My life has changed dramatically for the better After hooking them up for the first time, the motors just shook until I gave the shaft a turn. Once it started turning, it would continue to do so until I shut them After it came back on, it started shaking again. I nudged it, it stopped shaking. There is an inconsistency in the motion of the motor, as if it doesn't know which way to go In retrospect, this may have been explained by the fact that it turned clockwise for sometime before it became stuck. Despite this, however After a few runs (maybe six or seven times for a few minutes each time), both motors have now started up with no problems, and they are very quiet and smooth. That was a mistake I should not have made. Has it been that long since you last used it? These motors seem to be working well.

It is fine if the motor is on its own circuit, but it works best if it is

In this case, the motors can be run on their own, however, the wire gauge is too small for any additional item, such as a lamp, to be connected to the circuit. Anything else that is added to the circuit will make the motor stop working.
