The DC motor is everything the manufacturer said it would be. My order was placed the next day and I received a call from the manufacturer the next day asking if I had a lift kit, tire size, if my cart had a rear seat, etc. they were making sure I got the right motor for what I expected it to go It was great and I told my neighbor about it, so he ordered one from the same place since he was replacing his motor as well. I am totally satisfied with the product, both in terms of performance and in terms of quiet operation.
