Almost any Ford 7 is compatible with this part. It is also referred to as idi T (factory turbo 93-94 The only one I know is number 94). This is a list of seven. Among the top-selling 9idi Diesel models is . On my 1987 F250 6 I have recently noticed that the tachometer is malfunctioning. There was no indication of the engine speed in 9IDI, this was noticeable at cold start high idle when the engine was revving where it should even though the tachometer indicated 200 rpm. The sensor was swapped out this morning in about 10 minutes you should put a few drops of oil on it when you are done. Ensure that the ring is ready for installation. As I started up the truck (29 degree cold start on a frosty morning, open block heater) the tachometer immediately displayed high idle (1200rpm) the engine failed to start! I find that interesting as well. Is it because the truck is shifting more smoothly now? The topic of that one requires some further study. I replaced the old sensor with 232,000 miles on it, I won't see the day (or maybe a) where I will have It would be up to me.
This IDI consists of three levels. Upon checking the ohms on my old sensor, I found that it was zero. 2K or 3K would have been a good choice. My tachometer now works after I ordered this sensor and it's an exact fit (including the wires) and I had no problems installing it. A happy day has come to me.

Suddenly, my 85 F 250 6 no longer has a working Tach. There are 9 l diesel engines. All the local auto parts stores were not able to provide parts. There is no mention of the tach sensor on their website. They are not even listed as carrying I am very pleased with this replacement, it fits perfectly, there have been no problems of any kind, and the tachograph is functioning.
Worked perfectly, Ford part that simply plugs into the vehicle. The price is not cheap, but the product is I replaced the sensor that had been in use for 30 years with an exact replacement.
