Many people I saw were using these on cheap Chinese laser cutters (engravers) to adjust the power in order to extend the life of the laser tube, as the machine can destroy itself if too much power is used. br>br>It was simple to set up and works flawlessly. I was told not to run my machine (50w CO2 laser) over 20mA, and now that I have this meter, I can be sure to stay under that limit, extending the life of my tube.
This is what I used to monitor the laser power on my K40 laser cutter. By allowing me to monitor actual power output vs. theoretical power output, I was able to avoid blowing out my laser tube. In software, this is an estimate of the percentage. br>br>Installation took less than ten minutes and was very simple.
I bought this to go with my Orion Tech 100W laser engraver. The meter is of good quality and has a high level of accuracy. It gives nearly identical readings to my high-end Fluke multimeter.
The first unit I received was defective, so I had to have a replacement shipped; the second unit works perfectly, and the replacement process was simple.
It was simple to install on my Co2 laser in order to better monitor the power output. It was simple, clean, and effective, and it was delivered quickly.
This was purchased to go with my 60W co2 laser. It's a must-have for anyone with a co2 tube laser who wants to make sure they're not wasting power and shortening the tube's life.
I needed something to monitor the output of my C02 laser, and this was perfect.
Purchased and installed on my orion motor tech laser, which is 60 watts. Installation is simple and only requires two wires.
