This item was a perfect fit. It's necessary to get rid of any old gasket or debris. Because there was a lot of chatter in the reviews about the provided bolts snapping, I went with the OEM bolts.
These value covers are exactly the same as the original oem value covers that came with my Nissan Titan. The valve covers came with pre-installed gaskets, which made my installation a little easier. I'm so glad I found them on Amazon!.
The gasket and valve cover appear to be in good working order. Everything was in place, but the bolts were cheap, and two of them snapped with only a small amount of torque applied. Keep your old bolts and use them instead.
Everything you need to finish the job correctly is included. There were no problems with the installation. Oil leaks are no longer a problem.
The valve covers and gaskets were perfect for my smoking problem, but the bolts that came with the kit were not threaded correctly and I couldn't use them. I just used the original bolts and everything was fine.
Great value for the money; patience and caution with harness connectors while removing to avoid breaking clips; great for the do-it-yourselfer; three days of regular driving so far; no leaks; looks exactly like OEM except for the oil cap; no big deal! It works fine, or you can use your old cap, which fits perfectly on the new valve cover's original rachet type cap.
I would advise you to purchase it.
