You can turn a 4l V6 into a 4l V8 by using As far as spark plug seals go, I skipped them as mine were in good condition and I've read they're difficult to replace. Toyota FIPG (rtv) should be used on the small half-circular metal pieces on the head) pull them straight up and out, clean, and apply to the bottom, then replace. There are two on each side. Replace cam seals as well. It is easy to fix, cheap, and they are the most common source of leaks on these motors (use a small amount of fipg too). Make sure to keep the area where the gasket will sit oil-free to ensure it seals well with paint thinner. Approximately 54 inches. Weight in lbs. All you need to do with these valve cover bolts is tighten them.

Fits Toyota 4Runner 3 models from 1997 to 2004. The gasket for the V-6 does not need to be rubbed into place, so it can be pushed I was able to get the valve covers back in place without incident. There was a leak in the system.
