On a 2006 Nissan XTerra, I have a severe oil leak at the valve cover gasket on the passenger side. On the 4L v-nose, but not on the 4L v-nose, I have tried new gaskets Seals for the spark plug tubes on the 6 engine are built into the valve covers, therefore they cannot be replaced. It took 13 years for all gasket materials and hoses to fully dry. I fixed the leak and gave my vehicle a smooth idle with this kit and an air intake boot kit purchased at Amazon. It is worth the purchase. I would like to get 10 out of 10 I am out of this set by 15 years. As well, you'd be wise to order the 3 pcv hoses, since your original ones will probably also be damaged.
A spark plug gasket no longer leaks oil to the spark plug side. Compared to the local Nissan dealer, this is much less expensive. It was the Youtube instructions videos that were most helpful to me. The entire process went smoothly without removing a fuel line, but if I had to do it again, I would disconnect it, since the tool makes it easy to do so.
