It doesn't seem to be the case. The 3 months warranty for my Kia Sorento was covered by this warranty. This engine has a 8-cylinder configuration.

The three square pieces on each gasket (3 on each) shown in the picture form a seal between the spark plug connections. I'm not sure what they're called.

A valve cover on my wife's Kia Sedona was leaking oil on the alternator, and one of the covers was leaking oil on the valve cover. Generally, valve covers measure about 18 inches in diameter and feature a number of screws and bolts. The important part is to have a gasket that stays in place and fits into the grooves. As for the gaskets, I thought they were excellent. For this particular set, there are valve cover gaskets that are tailored specifically for each one. To make sure that one is using the correct one, one must first verify which cylinder bank it is. The gasket has writing on it, so as long as it is facing up, you know that you have it positioned correctly. A Felpro gasket is always a good choice. Because of those plastic covers on top of the engine, it gets so hot under the hood that it tends to cook the rubber parts, causing them to deteriorate more quickly. Gasket makers are not to blame for this it is the auto manufacturers who make the engine compartment look good at the expense of ensuring that it is insulated from the heat in the engine. Due to this, after about 70k miles, the gaskets in my wife's Kia started leaking oil. For installation, i used a few drops of adhesive to ensure the gasket did not move while I slid the cover around the obstacles. Overall, felpro gaskets are some of the best on the market.

An item covered in oil needs to be opened

This unfortunate event happened to me. Despite the fact that they were the right gaskets for my vehicle, I received dirty gaskets that were opened. There is no way that they could have been sold and returned. Ultimately, I wondered if someone had just put their old ones in the box and brought them back as if they were new ones. This experience resulted in total dissatisfaction. In the event of premature failure of the gaskets, I may even have to repeat the job.

anyone who owns a 2007 Santa Fe knows that the alternator of that year leaked oil directly onto the frame. In the long run, the valve cover gasket, and the alternator depending on how badly it is coated with oil, will have to be changed. The good news is, I got to do them It seems to be holding up fine, but do keep an eye on the RTV gasket maker in that corner because it will leak again eventually.

I had no leaks and the fit was perfect

I ordered the gasket a couple months ago and I can't believe how well it has held up. I replaced the oil leak on my Azera after a couple of months and I am very pleased. It is highly recommended in case you are past the oil leak recall period and wish to do the repair on your own.
