This is the tool you need for those fuel pump lock rings, and I'm a Toyota dealer technician. I break the ring loose with an air hammer, then tighten it with this tool. It's 1/2" drive and a lot less expensive than what you'd get from a tool truck. Most of the ones from the trucks, according to what I've seen, are 3/8" rather than 1/2". Although it only works on the plastic rings, this is a better option than the Toyota SST. It appears to be well-made and durable.
