On my 2010 Ford F150, this funnel works perfectly. It's large enough to unlock the flap and pour gas into it with a can. It's small enough to fit under the backseat without difficulty.

The design is abominable

There are seven reviews, but none are written. I have no idea what Ford was thinking when they designed this, but it is a complete pain to use. Unless you use one with a 1 foot spout, the funnel is too short to fit the spout of the gas can in. Despite this, I managed to spill gas down the side of my 2011 expedition. In the end, I inserted a longer funnel into this one. Only the tabs inside the filler tube are pushed open by this funnel. What a sham of a part; Ford should be ashamed of themselves for designing this filler tube without a cap.
