After a maple tree fell on the old flatbed, I built one for my pickup. The filler neck is held in place by this.

Because the cap was mounted further forward in my application, the most difficult part was loosening the hose clamps and ensuring that there was enough "slack" for it to reach the mount.

The research is excellent. To fit my 2019 F550, the bolt hole pattern for the filler neck had to be slightly elongated. It was a lot less difficult than making my own.
