Questions & Answers

Upon what terms does this product come with a warranty?

A Chrysler dealer will provide a two-year unlimited mileage warranty

In addition to the oil filter bypass, do I need it?

What is that? I have no idea. The top of the head is fitted with the filter housing and the cooling component. From front to back, it covers the head. The tranny and the wall of the bell housing should look oily, and you should be able to see a pool of oil on the top of the head if there is a flow of oil running down the back side of the engine. It will not relocate the filter if you are also looking to relocate the source.

Can this part be installed in a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3? What is 6L?

This part fitted a Dodge Durango III from 2012 I don't know about the grand Cherokee 6, though.

What is the fitment of this 5184294AE part on a 2012 3?

In short, yes. It will fit for the first time in that model year.

I did research on it.
I have a 2012 Dodge Durango with the 3. I spent a lot of time researching this part and decided to go with it. I found that my 6 pentistar was losing coolant and I could not figure out where it might be We finally identified where the leak came from - The 2011-2012 data indicates that the United States will remain in a recession until at least 2016, Models from 2013 and 2014 leak coolant a lot, but models from 2014 and onward are not as prone Oil leaks into the coolant have been observed in the 2016 model year. According to articles I read, the 2014 oil cooler (part # 5184294A) is equipped with a different oil filter but has been re-oiled It is the best part for preventing leaks in the future because it is designed and highly engineered. In other words, though the filters are different, they are still the same as those from There is a fit for 2013 yr models with the oil cooler. From then on, all you need to do is buy an oil filter for 2014. As a result, I bought the part
I felt more comfortable buying this oil cooler from an actual Dodge dealer, as their reputation was a little better than other sellers'.
I felt more satisfied buying this oil cooler from them instead of other sellers. In addition to $20 more for the new spark plugs (part #SP149125AE), I had my own mechanic install it for $180 and another $20 for installation of my personal machine. As long as you take the intake off, you can attach the plugs while you are there. I also bought the intake gaskets (part#), and three bottles of Mopar coolant (part #). My only issue with the order is that it was shipped without any *I'm not sure if Amazon or the seller are responsible for the problem or not. I am glad to report that my computer worked without any problems. I hope that someone else can benefit from the information.

In fact, I just needed to replace the pressure sensor, but I decided to also replace the oil cooler since they are frequently prone to leaks. Presented with all the necessary paperwork A gasket and ring are already in place.

This is a simple fix for the Chrysler-Jeep design that must be The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee I own is an excellent vehicle

It is likely that any owners of a 2011 or 2012 Chrysler or Jeep will know that the Pentastar 3's Oil Filter design is a disaster. The 6th letter. While you remove the oil filter cap, a spring and plastic shroud will come flying out of nowhere for no apparent reason. As soon as Chrysler realized the mistake in 2013, they fixed the design. There is a problem with those who have 2011's and 2012's. To date, there have not been any recalls. Apparently, the Jeep dealer wants to charge me $675 just to replace a $2 spring and spring shroud (basically, the dealer will tow, purchase, and install the part, and do the What a waste! Among the mechanics I spoke to, I was informed that I could buy this part from Amazon, remove the spring and shroud, and install the spring and shroud on my current Jeep! I loved the way it worked! I spent 30 minutes on the phone. The $175 part is significantly cheaper than $675 (but still not as cheap as it should be), until the spring + shroud is made available. It costs $20. It's only natural that I would give the usual You should not change this if your warranty has expired, and you should take the spring and shroud off very carefully. In order to use these tabs, you need to press in three You should not discard this part once you have removed it. It would be easy to mount it on this part, and you'd have a brand new one if a spring and shroud ever became available for $20. It's important to know what to do if your oil cooler ever fails. 4 * EDIT Now you can take advantage of the spring-like weather Parts to replace the neck and fingertips are being produced by Try your search on YouTube for rViwIKhyoR4.

Product is great, price is great, and you can install it yourself with YouTube's help

Remember to get a torx E8 bit so that you can remove and install the part. In the picture, I pointed out the location. As a skeptic, I was worried because the price seemed a bit low for a legitimate MOPAR product, but it ended up fitting perfectly and working well. As a result of doing this myself, I saved a little over $500 in labor and parts compared to what the dealer quoted. In January 2020, I did this. Thanks for taking the time to read this!.

The OEM part is indeed Exactly as described and OEM, this part is authentic
5/5

The product is well worth the extra cost that I had to pay as my mechanic told me the product would not fit the vehicle I had initially found the cheaper price to buy. I, unfortunately, learned the hard way! You can get this product at a much reduced cost than when you buy it from your dealer for $407! This one, therefore, can be bought with confidence knowing that it is a real deal.

Dodge Charger 3
5/5

2012 model. The 6 V6 flex fuel is fuel efficient. The majority of us and I were unaware that the 3th factor may be its Achilles heel. It's a sure thing to be on the sixth charger list. I installed the oil cooler a few months ago, and I have not experienced any problems since, as far as I know. It took a few months for my coolant problems to subside and I can drive without any hassles. Excellent product! I would highly recommend it!.

Upon installation of the product, it failed after less than 3 months

In June, I bought this oil cooler. My coolant has oil leaking from the radiator since the beginning of September. In Texas, it was 100 degrees and I was stranded with my family. Buying this part from Swift Part I ended up paying twice as much as other amazon sellers were asking, believing this to be a genuine Mopar part. I went through the trouble of ordering this and was extremely disappointed.

Good to go! Works like a charm! Is easy to use and fits perfectly

It was a real pain to have to take half the motor apart in order to install it. However, it fixed the problem like a champ. The price is half of the dealers'.
