Questions & Answers

This item comes with a warranty. What is it?

The Chrysler dealer of your choice will offer 2 years and unlimited miles

Should I also get the bypass for the oil filter?

There's something I don't understand about that. In this case, the head of the filter houses as well as the top of the cooler. There are two covers, front and back, that cover the head. There should be a stream of oil running down the back side of the engine, the bell housing, and/or the tranny, and you should also see a pool of oil on top of the head when this is needed. This doesn't do the job if you want to relocate the filter.

The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3 should fit. Is that 6L?

There was a part for a Dodge Durango 3 in 2012. A 6-footer is okay, but a Grand Cherokee is questionable.

This 5184294AE part should fit a 2012 3 well. ?

It is true. There is a model year that will fit it for the first time.

Did my research on this OEM part and it was excellent
4/5

I recently bought a Dodge Durango with the 3. I did extensive research before I decided to purchase this part. I was unable to figure out where coolant was going from a Pentistar 6 that was losing coolant.
I finally found out it was the oil cooler at fault. As I read numerous forums detailing how the 2011-2012 presidential election result was a debacle The 2013 models were prone to leak coolant, but the 2014-2015 models seem to be more reliable There was a problem with oil leaking into coolant in some 2016 models. Based on what I read, the 2014 oil cooler (part number 5184294) has a different oil filter but a new oil filter was installed last year. As far as stopping leaks from occurring, the engineered part is always the best option. Thus, although the filters are different from those used in 2011-2012 There is no problem with fitting the oil cooler on 2013 model vehicles. In that case, you will simply need to purchase a 2014 oil filter. The (part #5184294AE) I purchased from Athens Dodge Chrysler Jeep is what I've got. This Dodge oil cooler I bought from an actual Dodge dealer seemed to have a better reputation than some of the other sellers.
Their prices were a little higher than some of the other sellers.
I felt more comfortable buying During my own visit to my local mechanic, it cost $180 plus another $20 for the new spark plugs (part #SP149125AE) to be installed. In addition to the plugs, I purchased the intake gaskets (part #)
and three jugs of Mopar coolant (part #)

My only complaint is that the part came with no **Not sure if Amazon or the seller is responsible for the error. Thanks to all of you who helped make it work without any issues.
Hope this information will be useful to.

Oil cooler for Jeep JKU 2013 made by Mopar
5/5

I used it on my 2013 JKU Jeep with no problems. Even though I only needed to replace the pressure sensor, I decided to replace the oil cooler because leaks are common when it comes to them. Completed the required paperwork in a timely manner A gasket and a ring have already been.

The Chrysler/Jeep bad design that needs to be recalled can be easily fixed
5/5

The Jeep Grand Cherokee I own is a 2011 model. You probably already know about the terrible design of the Pentastar 3 Oil Filter if you own a 2011 or 2012 Chrysler or Jeep. The 6L language. A spring and plastic shroud come flying out of nowhere when you remove the oil filter cap for no reason in the world. As soon as Chrysler realized the problem in 2013, they the fix it as soon as possible. However, those who own 2011s and 2012s are trapped. As of yet, there has not been a recall. In my case, I was quoted $675 by my Jeep dealer in order to fix the $2 spring and spring shroud (basically to tow, order, and install this part, plus an I hate it! One of my good mechanics told me that I could buy this part on Amazon, remove the spring and shroud, and put them back on my current jeep. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked! I will be there for about thirty In the meantime, buy this $175 part. Much cheaper A $20 donation). It is only natural for me to issue the usual If the spring and shroud have worn down, you should only replace them if your warranty has run out. Be extremely careful when removing them. In order to operate the device, you have to press in three tabs then pull up slightly. Do not throw away this part once it has been removed. It would be great if they ever introduce a spring and shroud for $20, you could mount it on this part and have a brand new one. You should get a new oil cooler when your old one fails. EDIT 4

Now that spring has finally arrived, you can rejoice! There will be a Dorman replacement pin and nibble in the near future. Try searching for the video on YouTube rViwIKhyoR4.

The original equipment manufacturer is indeed responsible for this
5/5

As described and original, this part is a genuine OEM part. The one thing I wish you would pay attention to is that if you are reading this, I strongly encourage you to get this product. I unfortunately learned the hard way as I initially found a cheaper price for the product, but my mechanic said that it would not fit. There are a lot of benefits to buying this product here over at the dealership where it costs You can buy this one knowing it is legitimate, so you can use it with confidence.

2013 Dodge Charger 3 - Review It has a 6 V6 flex fuel engine
5/5

I am one of the few who was unaware that the 3 might have an Achilles heel. There are six chargers in this set and this is A few months ago, I purchased an oil cooler, and I am not unhappy with it. The install has solved all my coolant issues and I can operate my vehicle without stress. I would recommend this product to anyone!.

Installation of the product was not completed after less than 3 months
3/5

June was the month when I bought this oil cooler. I have a problem leaking oil into my coolant at the beginning of September. It was over 100 degrees when I was stranded with my family in Texas. This item was purchased from Amazon seller Swift Parts and I paid twice the price of other amazon sellers, believing it was a genuine Mopar part. I am incredibly disappointed in this product!.

Sure, works like a charm! Fits like a glove and works well
5/5

I hated having to tear a motor in half in order to put it in! I didn't expect it would solve the problem so quickly, but it did! Priced half as much as dealers.
