My carburetor had a hole in it, so I plugged it up

A vacuum line ran from the petcock to the carburetor on the motorcycle I purchased. I replaced the petcock to eliminate the faulty vacuum line, which left a "hole" in my carburetor. To cut a long story short, this cap has completely sealed off the area where the vacuum line was previously located. It was a snug fit, but that's to be expected given that it's creating a vacuum seal.
