If the temperature is around 3/4,
The water pump should be turned off, in my opinion. The water pump's main job is to force coolant through the radiator. UN- The required coolant flow in a loop would detract from the water pump's primary function's overall effectiveness. If you live in a hot climate, I strongly advise you to wear a hat. It's like trying to inflate a tire that has a hole in it. If it's necessary to get to your next destination, go ahead and do it. Knowing you've got a leak, on the other hand.
There are no fuels that these can be used with.
They're what I use to keep coolant in tubes while I'm servicing them. If a clamp is used, it will not hold under pressure. Without knowing any more, Loop appears to be the best option.

I used it on a hot Ford 351w with multiple heater connections. I used the stock ones on the water pump, so I had to plug or cap the one on the radiator's water inlet. This saved me a lot of time because I tried ordering other water outlet/inlet caps but they didn't fit, but this one does. Because it's made of hard rubber, you'll have to work hard to get it to fit, but it does. It could be a little deeper for my purposes, but it still works.
It was a tight fit, but it worked perfectly to seal the heater core ports on the firewall engine bay side, and it was a great way to complete the heater core deletion. Used on a VW Beetle from the year 1985.
The material is soft and not reinforced. The material was distorted and damaged as a result of clamping. I would not use these on pressurized coolant and would recommend them for some type of engine vacuum port blockoff.
When I moved the hose to the water pump, I used it to plug the heater hose connection on the radiator. If you lubricate the ID with some antifreeze, installation should be simple.
These were not included in the bypass kit I ordered from sleazebay. I'm glad I placed my order.
Thanks!.
This is what I use on my Acura CL, and it works great with no leaks.
