After replacing the filter after 7,000 miles of use, the pleats were still perfect - This filter fits the 2013 Volvo C30 T5. In the past, some of the pleats widened after use in other brands.

I've used them on my 0T wagon and they work perfectly. Having changed the oil at VW's recommended interval of 10k miles, it is next time. This engine has over 155K miles on it and there have been no issues with It should have more than 200K views. Even though I am not sure how much credit goes to the oil compared to the filter, it must play a significant role in the engine's performance. Since I have only used K&N, I cannot say how much of that credit goes to the filter. Since I have used N filters for so long, I don't know whether other brands work just as well, but I won't switch.

An Audi A4 (B7 model) with a 2. 0 liter does the job for me. The K&N engine is a 0T engine and I have used two of them. I achieved this three times when using 00 spec oils, and on both occasions I collapsed in on themselves like an hourglass or a corset. In fact, this phenomenon did not occur with an OEM air filter installed by the dealer while I owned the car for the first 5,000 miles. As soon as these filters became as restricted as they did within 5,000 miles, I would never think of trying to extend the change interval beyond the 10,000 As for my car, it is entirely stock and I don't drive it hard. From what I've found on the web, the Audi/VW filter is manufactured by Mann, and pleasantly, the filter is available on Amazon as well.

miles, I noticed the oil pressure light was on. I checked the oil filter and discovered the oil filter was collapsed, which is preventing oil from moving. The oil filter was replaced by a mobile1 product and the problem is no longer occurring.

A 4-cylinder Audi A4 Quatro has been fitted with this oil filter. There was a break in the oil filter and the oil was not filtered. It appears that other users have had similar experiences with this oil filter. Upon closer inspection, I see the filter has collapsed at the center, such that I believe it cannot handle the oil flow/pressure of any engine. I hope this has not put excessive wear on.

This is not a TFSA. My 2-inch screen is amazing with that filter. I change my oil every 5000 miles and have had no issues in the past five oil changes since I began using it. Mk5 2 works great with this. There are no GLIs or GTIs, and it is very easy to change them. My family and I have used these filters for years and can't seem to find any reason why people are experiencing problems. In all the times I've changed oil, I've never encountered a crushed filter. Using the new gasket provided every time and hand-tightening the filter housing is all you need to do. I've also got a fair amount of tuning going on, so stock VWs, or those lightly modified, shouldn't have any.
