This is a Chinese product, as other commenters have pointed out. The K&N is opened and compared to the old K&N There has been a sea change in N filters over the past two years. Get these for $5 if you can find them on sale. You should buy it if you have 99 cents or less. You are paying too much if not.

The nut should be included in each K and N filter. I thought all k and n filters had it. However, it works great with my 98 Toyota Camry V6.
