Rebuild and bulletproof the 0L. used it on my exhaust manifolds, up pipe (y pipe), down pipe (4"), CAC tube(s), and wire looms (new, no splicing necessary). If you want to get the band tightening tool, do not buy it it is useless and even counter-intuitive. It is best to use a pair of alternative lifestyle pliers (dykes as my dad used to call them) to both wrap and cut out at the same time. You read that correctly. Fiberglass will end up everywhere. I did not feel the need to use water as others have told me to do so. The finishing touches will be Latex gloves and painter's overalls or a painter's suit, then flush yourself out with water. Since I used silicone heat paint to cure my wrapping, I was lucky enough to put it in the oven to cure at 400* for two hours, so I did not get the smoking. In terms of longevity, I have not tried it yet, but just got my 6ohshit up and running The product should be able to withstand the test of time. The ends of the wrapping were folded under so they wouldn't unravel. I used zip ties to hold it down. You do not have to skimp and do it again. Use two SS bands on each end. I mean it. Once you have the zips cut off, you'll find it easier to use. You don't need to itch by taking an air hose and showering!.
A large pair of scissors is required to cut it. Inspects the area where the exhaust pipes exit the exhaust manifold by the side of the engine block as well as the oil pan for catalytic converter heat. JB Weld high heat paste was used, and stainless steel tie rods were attached. Install the wraps where you want them. By securing the wrap on the outside diameter of the round cat converters, the wrap does not shift.
On my Harley, I used these to wrap the short pipes. It's great to see the look and how well they dried. After I was done this time, I didn't have that itchy feeling, I don't know if it was the manufacturer or my experience this time. I do not yet know how the bike will react to the heat while it is being repaired. If the result is less than perfect, I will update.
The high-pressure lines on my PCP air compressor system worked well with this kit.
The software worked well for the project that it was required for. I wanted to get my dad something with an airplane (for him).
A perfect fit around the hole in the atv pipe. It made the atv much quieter.
