Questions & Answers

Is this tool compatible with the 2001 Chevy S-10?

will need your vin # to call a GM dealer and obtain the OEM part number. The OEM part number will be used to locate

I have a 2004 Suburban 5 and it says it fits. There is a new version of the 3 Z flex fuel engine and I have the wrong part. Is it a new version or is it ?

My plan was to use it for the H2 Hummer I bought it

Do you think this will result in po455?

P0446 is typically triggered if the canister is cracked or misaligned, but there are exceptions. An indication of a leak is P0455. A split vent line, a bad gas cap seal, or an inadequate vent line connection are more likely to be the cause of the error code

How do I know if this will fit my 2007 Chevy Avalanche?

The fitment was right for my 05 Avalanche, but I cannot guarantee the fitment on an 07 model.

We fixed the issue with the gas fill shutoff in suburban model 2005
5/5

A quick fix was applied to my 05 suburban that was hard to fill. Usually, my suburban would run for about 20 cents before it would shut off entirely. As a result, I went the cheap route first and replaced the vapor vent solenoid and EVAP part in the engine, when it didn't work I bought the second part when it didn't work I finally had to replace the whole charcoal canister. My recommendation is to start with this and then move from there, but the other two parts are only While you are replacing the canister, you might as well upgrade the solenoid for the EVAP vapor vent in close proximity. I purchased all three parts from the Internet at a total cost of about $150, and I installed them separately from one another over the course of about an hour and a half. After replacing the vent solenoid attached to the canister at the same time, I did notice that my car started up quicker afterward. I could probably have saved 30 minutes or so if I had done that together with replacing the canister. It did correlate, although I am not sure how. It is important to remember when the pump automatically stops, it means it is full! Be careful not to squeeze 50 cents more in at the expense of $150 A total of 200 An hourly rate of $500-$1000 would be appropriate for this job There were 700 on board the stealth ship.

The Chevrolet SUV's & Truck's have been redesigned An issue with fuel has been resolved! As I experienced the same issue as many of you, I had to re-download It's time to fill up my Chevy Avenger
5/5

Chevy SUVs & pickups seem to be more susceptible to this problem than elsewhere There are trucks. Your EVAP vapor canister will degrade after a while, releasing carbon pellets that are sucked up and taken to the filters. EVAP is integrated into the entire system. Your main reason for not being able to reapply is because of this Get gas at the pump to fuel your vehicle. Fuel issue)
ACDelco 23481275 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister Vent Valve (was replaced but had ZERO pellets)
ACDelco 214-12348 As a member of the team, I was amazed at how much pellets were sucked in. You can find the lines on the left. At the end of the day, I Now that the fueling issue has been resolved, the Avy is actually running better and switching from the V-type to the H-type This is an 8 and an 8 With ease, you can use 4 modes.

We will no longer be filling Noonan's tanks in 30 minutes
5/5

In 2005, I purchased a Since it was impossible to fill the tank from day one, I guess the previous owner "topped off" the tank. The research I did led me to discover that topping off causes fuel to enter the vapor canister, destroying the membrane that holds the carbon in, resulting in carbon pellets filling up the emission lines and causing the hard to fill problem. Because I was replacing this one, I went ahead and replaced two other Then and now.

A solution has been found for the Evap gas pump issue! It fits like a glove
5/5

My 2005 Yukon XL would only accept 1/2 gallon of fuel at a time as it was notorious for failing to fill up immediately. Filling up took about 20 minutes or more on a typical day. No, there is no more! The issue was fixed when I replaced the Vapor Canister. There are plenty of ways to do- To give you directions, you can go to videos on YouTube. We found that the most difficult part of installing the wasp was removing the hose clamps from the Also, I replaced the vent solenoid canister, vacuumed/blew out the hoses before reconnecting them, and replaced the vent solenoid. Glad to report that everything is back to normal and that I can fill up my car.

The EVA project has been successful
5/5

As the last of three pieces I had to replace to fix my 04 GMC Yukon's troubled evap system, I installed this part. The vehicle was purchased used and after a few days I received the P0446 error code. Fueling up, I would have a hard time putting in more than a few gallons before the pump would kick on. As soon as the engine was started after fueling, it sounded rough and hard to start. This vapor would not come out of the vent solenoid to clear up the slow start issue after fueling. I replaced the purge solenoid on the engine to resolve the rough start after fueling, and I replaced both of these parts to resolve this issue. You will save a small fortune at the dealer by saving $30 in parts and 30 minutes of your time. This charcoal vapor canister seems to sabotage the evap system when it is overfilled, because fuel is allowed to enter it.

If you are having trouble adding gas to your truck, consider buying an OEM part

It is important to acquire this part. It is best to use a vacuum and to remove the lines. Upon closer inspection, a bag full of charcoal was found in my.

The replacement is direct fit and easy
5/5

Designed specifically to fit 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESVs, this component was an exact replacement. I clogged up all the hoses and lines on the other one as the charcoal pellets just poured out of I have not been able to solve my gas cutoff problem with this method, since I am still blowing out all the lines that are probably still filled with lumps of charcoal. The problem is that this is pretty easy to fix. You should watch a few videos first on how the hoses attach, then you can be a bit more patient and not yank them off like a heathen. This should fix your problem.
