It's a perfect fit for a 2009 Chevy Silverado with a 5

0. There, Amazon indicated this item doesn't fit a 2009 Chevy Silverado with a 5. 3L Engine. Amazon usually does a good job of noting which products fit which vehicles, but in this case the listing stated that this item doesn't fit Possibly a 3L engine (I am not too sure whether engine size is important here). In spite of that, I did some research Several months ago I looked at the Delco website and was pretty sure that this was the correct part. So I took a gamble, and sure enough, it fit perfectly.

My truck was equipped with this after I bought it. The plug in mine was clogged and made filling the gas tank difficult. Having tested my vent valve beforehand, I knew it was ok. The dealer was not willing to give me a deal on this unit at my cost. There is no comparison between this OEM part and its competitors.

The product fits well and performs It took 5 seconds for the gas pump to shut off every time I pumped gas

This vent canister was installed in place of the old one. As soon as I turn off my SES light, I can pump gas as normal!.

I could find ACDelco on the Internet. It doesn't matter. As my very knowledgeable mechanic explained to me, GM owners should only purchase ACDelco when it comes to parts related to emissions.
