Questions & Answers
It does not matter which vehicle you have, the canisters work the same. It will depend on the size of your fuel tank as to how large a canister you need. A mounting bracket to hold it in place would be the only problem. You should be able to move the machine as long as you mount it securely and tape all the hoses to it.
Despite cleaning the tank and hoses every time, the new strainers fill up with this black dust, not from contamination from gas stations. I own an original 2001 fuel pump, and I have had to replace it four times since January. There is no knowledge among dealers and they want to replace everything without even knowing what it is.

I've driven it for quite a few hundred miles, and it seems to be holding up well. OEM parts are somewhat expensive, but I think that most of the time it's worth it. Whenever you get some of these "Evaporative Emission Control System Leak Detected" codes (P0455, P0422, etc. ), you need to reboot using the “cheap guy” procedure Make sure your gas cap is tight and secure To clear the code, follow these steps. In the event the code returns, replace the gas cap if it is older than two years, and then clear it. The vent valve), especially if they are original and old, wears out after a dozen times of opening/closing. located on top of the engine, while vent valve is located in the underside of the engine, just below the charcoal canister. There were two valves in my car that were cheap enough to just replace versus trying to test them first. Additionally, I found a broken (completely closed) vent on the charcoal canister, leaving it exposed to air, which was cheaper to fix. In order to avoid having to hire a mechanic and having to pay for 'smoke testing', do the following Having a mechanic take a look at it first is recommended to ensure it has the correct gas cap, valve and fluid levels.
There is no tricky trick to undo the hose clamps, so it can be accomplished in 15 minutes with your own hands. During some model years, GM hose clamps have this odd plastic squeeze fitting that was invented by an engineer who was traumatized by childproof caps, so he designed an adultproof fitting. In order to move the ring, you have to squeeze the two tabs on the sides of the band, and then with the other hand (or ideally pliers) squeeze really hard at the base of the ring (see diagram below). The two locking tabs will now be able to be removed and you can pull out the device. The new unit slides right in with two bolts once the three hoses have been removed. Since I have practiced replacing it several times, I can probably do it in less than 5 minutes if I have to do it again.
It did not break or damage. I purchased this excellent product from Amazon at a great price. It was not broken or damaged during I purchased an old vapor canister which looks the same as this new one.
