According to the book, all engines have the same emission systems, so it should be the same for the 07 as well.
It is best to go to a parts store to find out whether that is the case.
The 2006 H3 was in my possession
Unlike most electrical parts, most electrical parts cannot be returned once they are opened.
Selected User Reviews For GM Genuine Parts 214-2324 Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid
Here is the exact solenoid I used on my Chevy Colorado vapor vent canister. It really appeared that GM executives wanted to screw their customers by adding the tube. There is no difference between the Colorado/Canyon and larger GM vans and trucks it only mentions it for larger GM vans and trucks. To remove the plastic remaining in the hose, cut off the connecting plastic and pull it out. The tubing needs to be warmed up before installation, so it can be attached to the new solenoid. It took me less than 30 minutes to complete. I eliminated that P0449 code for about a third of the usual.
We got the solenoid code for the problem. I was told the repair guy could do it "next week" for $500-$1000 The number is subject to change). With this part and the electrical adapter, I ordered it for significantly less than $50 and crawled under the truck to remove one bolt. This removed the entire cartridge without having to drop the spare tire. It took me just under an hour and saved me This caused the Check Engine light to go out, and the truck easily passed the smog inspection.
I used this to fix the P0449 check engine light. When combined with ACDelco 19257603, the result is a high performance system. Since the plug size on the OEM is different from the one on this one, a wiring harness was required. The bracket is very easy to remove with a 10mm socket, all you need is a tightening key. Behind the gas tank door, right in front of the location.
The pros are It turns out the canister itself has the right part number, and the P0449 check engine code was no longer there It should be noted that while the model code has been removed, the original electrical connectors for a 07 Colorado/Canyon are not designed for A proper fit requires the harness, #19257603). It appears that AC Delco #214-35 is an AC Delco product You should make sure you hire an experienced expert to fix your 2324. It can be used on several different models, so double-check before replacing. You may want to take a look at a photo posted by another reviewer. The cons are Its neck is slightly narrower (for the hose) and it has a different electrical connector from the original. Although I was able to fit mine in there, I am going to go to the dealer and get the right part so that it fits correctly. I am very disappointed that something so basic has been changed about this part but a new part number has not been assigned. If crucial parts aren't identical, OEM part numbers for a particular vehicle fail to meet their purpose.
It was not possible for me to use this purge valve despite giving you good feedback. You can do the right thing by sending me the purge valve for the right model and I'll return this one There was not enough room for the plug to plug into the inlet. Could you please send me the one with the right plug so I can see how big it is. Thanks a lot for your agreement to return this one to me once it comes back to me. Your time is appreciated Jeff, have a great day.
We will also be able to do this. There are several GM vehicles that can be repaired with this method. As well as replacing the vapor canister vent with the hard plastic line (that costs $100), this will also provide added ventilation. You just need to cut the plastic line and install the canister. Then, you will splice the plastic line to the canister with the rubber hoses of 5/8". This was used on a 2006 Colorado and a 2007 Colorado Chevrolet Silverado 2006.
As I pumped gas in my 2007 Chevy Colourado I noticed that it was causing me problems. As I put gas in the tank, the gas pump would keep clicking and it would appear the tank was full, but there was actually an issue with the canister not letting the gas fuses connect with the gas tank.
A P0446/P0449 OBD check engine code for Chevys is easily fixed with this tool. I used to pay $272 to the garage each time it failed, so having this along with the YouTube video on how to install it is excellent The following should be noted As part of the installation process, I also needed an adapter cable part number 19257603 to connect the new unit to my 2006 Impala. It is not possible to connect without the cable, as GM changed the connector type. Amazon states that the cable is not necessary and that it would not fit on my car, but it is false as you cannot.
