It is more universal in its application

Even though Amazon indicates it is direct fit, the hose is not thick enough to properly fit over the head. In order to make it short enough, I needed to trim a couple inches off. In addition, it was not the right shape.

My 95 Chevy suburban k1500 5 was able to use it. I like it a lot because it fits so snugly. It has the shape of an s, but fits any shoe.
