Questions & Answers

The engine light on my 2003 Honda Civic lx has the code P1457 leak (EVAp canister area), but there is no debris on the ground what could be the problem?

A bad solenoid is most likely located in the canister. We should be able to solve the problem with this unit. It is not advisable to buy the canister on its own, as this will cause the check engine light to come In case you have the right lift equipment and tools, this job can be done in thirty minutes.

Do the two screws that are needed come with this part?

I did not think so. As a result of the very rusted screws, they pulled out the anchors from the plastic of the canister it had been attached As far as I am concerned, they have to be replaced. The city where I live is New York.

Will it fit my 1992 Civic ?

I'm sorry, but I don't think it fits here.

Do you think this would fit a 2001 Honda Civic LS?

I used this part with my 2001 civic lx and it worked great! Match made in heaven

This fix will resolve the P1452 code for your 2002 Honda Civic LX
5/5

A part like this one was just what we needed to fix our 2002 Honda Civic LX's P1452 OBDii code. It is easy to remove and reinstall the EVAP canister from under the rear of the car using a 12MM socket and a Philips head screwdriver, and the task can be completed within 30 minutes. If you receive the P1452 error code on your EVAP system, this is the first component you need to replace. It is also simple enough for any DIYer The following caveat should be kept in mind PB Blaster or something similar may be necessary to break free the two screws if they are stuck. Do not force the screws as there will be a rounding out effect and you will have Make sure you review it as well When you reinstall the EVAP can on the vehicle, connect all four hoses you removed from it.

I could not complete the task

My RSX had the P1457 (evap code) so I bought this part to fix it. The problem has not been resolved. After I brought my car to be looked at, I was told it needed some repair- Upon opening the box, they determined that this part was defective. Honda OEM evep canister valve replaced with a genuine for the first time and the code has not returned since. The CEL has been removed and P1457 is no longer present. Unless you want to deal with unpleasant customers, I would.

The Honda Civic LX is a 2002 model
5/5

I changed out this valve. Having passed emissions, I can now move forward. A 2002 Civic lx 4 door the 1 was used in this photo. A code has been removed and emissions have been Dorman 911- was the product I purchased The valve for venting vapor canisters is part of the 762 vapor canister. There are a lot of people on the internet who say that it's Due to the low price, I did not do the smoke test I just replaced the plate because it was cheaper. Now I have my new registration. The change took all but 30 minutes. recommend, however, that you obtain the screws because mine were rusted out and it does not come with them.

This product does what it says

I was able to change it very easily on my 2002 Honda Civic. There is a good chance you'll have to use a vise grip in order to remove the screws. Code for my evap was cleared.

A problem developed after two years
3/5

I emailed the warranty department but did not hear back. Hello, I bought this to put in my grandpa's 2004 CRV The product went bad in October 2020 after it went bad in October 2018. We emailed warranty/technical service, but no reply has been received. Due to product quality and customer support after sales, the company is not a good choice for me. I appreciate it.

Here is where you will find the best price

There were multiple codes indicating the valve was bad, so a replacement took about 35 minutes, but it had to be reset After 200 miles of driving, the check engine light continues to blink. Additionally, the part fitted the 2005 Honda Civic even though the picture guide said that it did not.

I think we're on the same page
4/5

However, I have yet to install it, but it seemed to match exactly what I was looking for. It actually dropped when I ran the code. The problem was odd, so if it happens again, I will install the replacement part. I will edit my review based on its quality or poor quality. I believe that the two are exactly the same. I drive a 2005 Honda Civic (DX VP if you care) that is an automatic, but I find it still fun to drive.

Code for the evap system on the 2003 CRV It's fixed now! As a result, I was able to turn off the 2003 Honda CRV check engine light, which was caused by evap system trouble After reading a lot of other online repair stories, we decided to try this part
5/5

I was able to turn off the check engine light with no problems!.
