The program works on Windows 97 and higher This is what I used on my 2008 Subaru and 2004 Subaru Forester XT
It worked for my 2001 Legacy Outback, so I believe it will work here as well. During this time period Parts used in 2005 are the same as those used in 2004.
The second version will work with the first. This engine has a 5 cylinder.
On my 2003 Forester xs, I did not use it I don't know about the 2006 Forester

You are getting this at an amazing price! There was an offer from Subaru for There is a charge of $600 for this item. The fact that it is so similar in size and weight makes me think it is made by the same manufacturer as Subaru . There was a small leak in the evap system of my Subaru Forester. It was easy for me to blow right through it when I removed the old vent valve and hooked up 12 volts to it to see if it was closing tightly. That was such a small leak code that I couldn't believe it was actually registering. In addition, make sure those plastic covers on your gas filler tube are properly secured. Rather than this valve, mine was rusted and I was concerned that it might be leaking instead. The wire was wire brushed really well and heavy coats of undercoating were applied. I hope you will have great success with this part. That was a great review, I hope it helped.
A 2004 Subaru Forester gave me code for environmental system when the check engine light came on. Replaced fuel cap and it didn't fix the problem. My discovery of a damaged vapor canister vent valve and its wiring occurred while crawling under the car. It took me a few minutes to fix the wiring and replace the valve with this one. I was able to clear the code, and the check engine light turned off.
With the combination of the new charcoal canister and this valve, I was able to solve my fueling problem and turn The task of replacing both is simple enough for anyone to complete. Rusty hardware is the only thing that might cause problems.
It worked fine, but I know that this is not the right item to resolve an issue with starting now that the fuel is running. There is, however, another solenoid available on Amazon that isn't that one. The company. There is no need to install this under the hood of the vehicle, it is in the rear. Prior to beginning your research, be sure to thoroughly review it.
Fixes the check engine code on our 2005 forester and the gas fill up Turning the power back on when it goes out.
I am trying to fit this part onto a 2005 Forester 2 despite Amazon telling me it fits. I would say it does not, if it were a 5 XS. As a result of more research, I learned that Subaru decided to place this valve inside the charcoal canister, which is not a serviceable part. I had to replace my entire charcoal canister (about $261 OEM), which did fix my issue with the DTC (P1443). My mistake taught me to be more careful. Here are the five things I love This part should work fine for MY03-2010, so I'm pretty sure it will be irrelevant when you start rating I have also bought other Dorman products, like their power window motor, and it also worked flawlessly.
It's so difficult for me to find any parts that will solve my P0442 small evap leak problem on my '03 Forester. was the part of the code that finally solved the P0442 error.
My problem was solved after I matched all dimensions to those of the original. Several codes from my 2003 Suby H6 Outback pointed to this as a cause of failed emissions. After getting the original out, it was a bit of rusted rain, but the new part corrected the issue. This is *br. I figured you wouldn't just read this to see what's in it, so I figured I'd tell you beforehand.
