My thoughts are quite limited. The battery for my 2004 Nissan Pathfinder SE with 230k miles was purchased from this seller. A check engine light lit up on my car with the error code P0455 as the cause of the problem. There is some kind of gross leak or evaporative system malfunction happening to the system. My first attempt was just to replace the Vent Valve Solenoid, but the bolt broke off as we were replacing it. In the following days, I still saw an error code for a "minor leak". In order to continue working, I decided to replace the entire canister to begin with. The canister actually came with its own vent valve solenoid, which is a great thing, especially for the price. On the 2004 Nissan Pathfinder, this is an easy replacement, just a few 10MM bolts, and there is nothing directly in the way to block No more EVAP error codes, and my inspection for emissions and safety has passed.
I'm pleased with the way things are going so far. Despite the absence of a check engine light, it is still turned.
The work was excellent and the price was reasonable.
