On my 2005 GMC Sierra, it did not come back after I cleared the error code. The valve is of very high quality. Nothing had to be adjusted, and the fit was perfect. I give this product 5 stars!

As far as I know, this item will not fit my 2005 2500HD Silverado 6. I checked Amazon and Autozone first. There is an equal and opposite gasser. It was very confusing for me as I spent several days verifying that the part I needed was the right one. I found one that matched the one on the truck exactly. The only port on mine was one on the charcoal filter side, so I was able to pull out the hose and vapor canister by removing the clip from the charcoal filter side. In order to make the hose straight, I cut about six inches off the hard hose at the top of the vapor canister. After that, I connected the hard hose to my new vapor canister using a heater hose of 5/8 ID. As soon as the hose clamps were applied to both sides, I reinstalled the unit under the truck by using the same clip the old vapor canister was connected to, and reconnected I've completed everything. I did not bother to put it on a lift and it took me 20 minutes from start to finish. A few cycles of turning the engine on and off turned off the check engine light. There are at least three or five of them. According to the code, it should be removed from the history after 3 cycles and after 100 cycles if something similar happened. Now that the check engine light is off, the engine is running well.
Original equipment manufacturers have a reputation for having problems with their parts. I have had no troubles with this part so far, and it has resolved the error There is no better recommendation for Dorman products than this one. There has never been a time when they Because I have replaced so many OEM parts with Dorman I want to go back to the original It should be called the Dorman Suburban, not the Chevrolet Suburban.
Initially I got this one to make sure that it was the problem but I got a different one to see if it was the problem and it was, so when this one goes bad in a couple of years I'll change it to the one that GM should have used.
The product is of high quality, affordable, and fast to get to you.
I love it.
After a few cycles, we had no issues with the check engine light coming on.
You should watch the video because it helps.
It fits perfectly. It took me ten minutes in total.
