It seems for some weird reason that there aren't a lot of tutorials on how to remove this (basically none), let alone a guide that would tell you where it's located. This pump is located in the engine bay but I've spent two hours searching for it. A generator pump that looks similar to the one on my vehicle was found after I spent two hours digging through my old gm car's guide book. It turns out that the system makes use of a 1-bit number Depending on its size, there are 3 pumps There are four major automakers Chevy, Mercury, Saturn, and Pontiac It does not matter whether it is v4, v6, or On top of the exhaust manifold, I noticed two upper air pumps. Eventually, I began looking in the bottom of the engine which led me to the "this" part It was super easy to enter this part with no complications after spending some time looking for it. (Please note This was changed in 20 degree weather, and just to be safe I used WD-40 It required 40 and a small flat head to pry (lightly) on the hose connections, which were It would have been a 5 star review but the packaging was a 5/10, there was a small chip on the top of the hose connection (no cracks) and there were holes all over the box, probably from the shipment being loose. Finally, I would like to say It was well worth it and I did learn that my original pump contained about a pint of water, so I had no choice but to replace it.
A new air pump and check valve were installed. The pump came in a packaging that was identical to what was found in the factory. If you would like a quote on the parts for your car, have your local GM dealer e-mail the price quote with the You can then be sure that the part you're getting is the correct one. I went to the dealer and they printed it out At the dealer, there was a price over double that at the store.
THE CUSTOMER BOUGHT A DEALER MANUFACTURED PART, AND FIVE MONTHS LATER, THE PART COULD NOT BE USED BY HIM. There is no warranty or return policy available for damaged or faulty parts.
I like the way the work turned out.
As a result, I have to wait for new hoses in order to hook up properly. Hopefully, the new ones will work the same way as the old ones do.
Is six months old.
