Optimal hanging height can be determined by adjusting the hanger imagine it would hold a pipe parallel as long as it had proper support. Overall, it is well built
Using a size 2 for a sleeve might make it a bit snug. About 5 inches of pipe, about 2 inches long and about 4 inches wide It should slide over the 2 in no time. To hang the pipe, 25 pipes have to be connected.
There are 5 of them It may be 6 inches, but there might be other lengths available.
This product is universally applicable. There would be 2 if it had them. In this case, it is a 5" pipe. A lot of adjustment is available on the hanger, and it can be oriented in different directions to use the

The job is what I wanted, and the job is what I My tail pipe started rattling when one of the mounting brackets for my exhaust pipe broke. I purchased this piece of hardware and I managed to fix the issue, the pipe is in its rightful I like that! Here we are. There are a couple of things to note about it, it's a 2 1/2" clamp for a 2" pipe. A clamp of the right size would have been very helpful. A piece of scrap metal filled the gap left by the gapping hole. In addition, I can see that this appears to be a DIY job, judging by the weld between the clamp and placement hardware for the hook. Honestly, your welding is quite good, and I salute you for embracing entrepreneurial spirit. I applaud you! It would be best if you offered more sizes if you were to make it yourself. It does not appear that a 2" is available. There should be an option to back order. I just thought you might like to know. The rod had to be cut to fit, but it wasn't too much of a hassle. In that case, it IS a universal solution, and it is nearly impossible to adapt one piece of hardware to each tail pipe. Kinda pricey for what it is, though. Thank you for offering a solution to a problem for which there doesn't seem to be a lot of specialized hardware available.
DOES THE JOB! It did install fairly easily and has not rusted away in any way. It functions as expected. Are there any bad things? This is just generic universal exhaust hanger junk. In addition, the threaded portion of the height adjustment nut needs to be trimmed, because it is too long. You must WELD or LOCTITE the height adjustment nuts or they WILL come loose. As you can see in the picture, it does not do the product justice. If you use it on a car rather than a truck or suv, you'll be using almost none of the threaded portion, which was 12" and i only have 5-1/2 of them. I have 6 threads MAX above the height nut, and since my angle grinder is in storage, I have a huge tail of threaded rod sticking parallel to my tailpipe. It's nearly as long as the pipe itself! He had to bend it to make way for him. This is not really a buyer beware situation as much as it is a buyer beware situation Keep yourself informed!.
I am so happy with them. These are fantastic. I am so happy with them. These hangers were needed after my old ones had rusted and broke and I wasted a week with a bobbing exhaust pipe. Using the new hangers was also very easy after removing the old ones.
It wasn't until packing it up that I realized it was actually a 3" pipe that was tagged wrong. I had originally received the second one, which was too large for my tailpipe. I returned the first one because it was too big for my pipe. Secondly, the second one was too big (My exhaust system A spring-clamp tightened to 75"), but did not tighten down enough to use. The clamp was flipped on the hanger rod so the clamp bolts would not show so much when it is in that position. It is a great product, just wish it could be smaller.
It was installed in my 2007 Mazda 3 in order to replace a corroded/broken tailpipe hanger. 2. There is an unfortunate occurrence. The diameter of the rod was the smallest available, but I made it work by cutting a scrap metal piece to use as an insert. The rod is also very long, and will need to be cut short after the threads are tightened. When there is an air cut, it will not be a problem. Although I didn't hacksaw it, I would still like to take off the tool like I did.
I had no problems installing, in fact, it was the easiest thing to do. The only issue was the hook that is supposed to go on the rubber grommets. It was really hot, so I had to heat it up with my blow torch so I could hit it with a hammer to kind of create a u shape, and that worked. However, it did not cause any problems other than that.
From the slightly used mufflers, I was able to cut off the brackets that were poorly welded, clean and paint them, and then reinstall then Each of the two was 2 for me. As advertised, the mufflers worked well, and the adaptation process was relatively easy, which allowed me to mount them level and close to the Mustang's underside.
The top was a little shorter than 5 inches, but anyway, it worked. The bolt will have to be cut because it is so long, but it still works wonderfully. This only took a few minutes to put on and was perfect. Being that it is so cheap, it is a good deal.
