Unfortunately, there are no universal catalytic converters available in 2. You'll need to change to either 2 or 75 inch pipe. Pipe with a diameter of 5" or 3".
As long as your pipe diameter is the same, it will work on anything.
It is not a bolt-on part; to fit your car, it must be welded into a pipe or have flanges welded on to it. So, with enough work, I'm sure it'll fit anything you want, but it's not designed to fit a MKZ.
I just got these back, and the length was exactly 9" from front to back.

I haven't put it together yet, but it appears to be well made. I chose this version with a metal core rather than a ceramic core because people have complained that ceramic units rattle over time, and I'm hoping it will eliminate the excessive gas smell my 2015 Mustang emits with its catless long tubes. Will make an attempt to clear smog, but believe it is a long shot. There was no one around to cross shop, so I took photos of the inside core. If it eliminates the musk from my car's exhaust, I'll be happy. br>**Update** It's been a month since I installed the software. So far, there have been no rattles or bad odors from the exhaust, and the sound level has been reduced by about 2 decibels. Still, it sounds pleasant.
This is the best catalytic converter I've ever used (and I've used quite a few Magnaflow converters). It has a nice appearance, is simple to put together, is reasonably priced, and flows well. It also doesn't make much of a difference in terms of sound, though it is quieter. My exhaust is a single 3" pipe with a Flowmaster muffler at the end. The car was far from passing emissions due to a clogged Magnaflow (my car runs a little rich). It passes by a long shot with the Flowmaster. br>I have absolutely no regrets. Flowmaster, for example, would not manufacture products in China. Flowmaster, on the other hand, is a popular choice.
Flowmaster products have always been a favorite of mine. These cats, on the other hand, aren't the best, but they do a great job when you're just cruising around. I found a stretch of road that was empty and floored it for a few seconds. My check engine light came on after that, and it smelled like the cats were having a bad day for the next 20 minutes. The cats were the source of the code for the check engine light.
The cats looked very high quality with a "Flowmaster" logo etched in the outer body and came made in actual 304 stainless steel with a thick honeycomb catalyst element tac welded to the inner lining of the tube. br>br>Fortunately, I had to return them because my Camaro SS converter SES codes didn't return, at 20 years. This car, on occasion, has a mind of its own. br>However, my brand new $2500 stainless steel exhaust was only a year old and came with decent cats, so I was hoping it was just that - a strange glitch in an older car. br>br>This item is a 5-star item. With a body length of 9" and a precise 3" OD fit, these stars were exactly what I needed.
An LS3 engine, headers, and a catless y-pipe are all part of my setup. pipe that smells fantastic (in a good way). It was a little difficult to live with because I smelled like a biker when I got to work because I drove it every day. So I bought this low-cost 200cell universal from flowmaster, and it took just enough of the odor away that I don't stink when I get to work, and it also passed inspection in a state where they do a visual inspection. 2 out of 5 stars!.
I'm not sure how well it will perform at high power levels, but it's perfect for my needs!.
They blew out in two days and are now rattling around like crazy. Buy cheap, get cheap.
Because I lack a welder, I had these professionally fitted. They were slip-fitted to the headers and welded to the Y-frame. The ones I got are different from the ones pictured, and in my opinion, they look better. They have a pleasant throaty sound. I had them replace a well-known brand that had failed twice (the substrate had come loose), and they didn't detract from the car's performance. They appear to be of excellent craftsmanship.
