Product Description

The AUTOSAVER88 direct-fit high flow catalytic converter has been designed to meet or even exceed OE standards yet offers better quality and performance at a lower cost.

For maximum durability, it has an outer shell made from stainless steel. With a high quality converter, you can avoid MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) code problems that are common with lower quality converters by carefully engineering the internal substrates and precious metal loading.

In addition to coming with the necessary gaskets and hardware, OE standard exhaust flanges are designed for easy installation and direct installation to existing exhaust systems without additional modification.

The EPA number is branded on the shell of every catalytic converter that is certified by the federal government and is OBDII compliant. Catalytic converters backed by Federal EPA certification have no warranty for five years or fifty thousand miles.

It was installed by an ASE Certified mechanic shop for my 2007 Honda Accord. It was as advertised CA emissions compatible. DO NOT BUY

I purchased this item and had it installed by an ASE certified mechanic shop. As the mechanic showed me when I got it, it was smaller than the one that had been removed. He was assured it was the right one, however. It turns out that the test engine light was not illuminated. I reset it and it started working again. When I took it to a muffler shop, I was told that it looked like it had been on the car for a few years instead of just My light was off and I was able to pass inspection because they showed me the one they replaced it with, was the correct size, and my light was replaced. To keep the old one, they had to keep the old one. In the end, I ended up paying more to get an exhaust system installed than if I had just gone to a muffler shop to begin with. I WARN THE BUYER TO BE VERY CAUTIOUS ON THEIR.

I installed the catalytic converter on my 04 Accord about 5 weeks ago, and it has been working fine. The original part was stolen, so I replaced it with this one and added an oxygen sensor, and no check engine light has come on. Happy with the price, hopefully it is sturdy.
