Replace the upper guide bolt on the timing chain if it is bent, broken, or stripped. 2L and 2. Ecotec, 4 liters My 2nd guide bolt was bent and stripped, so I replaced it. The 2L Ecotec engine is a perfect fit and performs exactly as it should. Note: This is a repair that should only be performed by someone who has extensive experience with automotive engines.

This was purchased to replace a timing device that had previously failed

This was purchased to replace a timing chain fixed guide bolt on the top of the head that had previously failed. I was immediately accepted. No problems after 6000 miles, and this will fit the 2. 2 ecotec. Dorman was supposed to make some changes to the application list.
