Yes, it is effective.
If it's got a 2 on it, it's worth it. It should work with the 4L Ecotech. It has nothing to do with the car's make or model, only the engine's type and year.
Yes, they do, and the process is known as intake. Camshaft position actuators for exhaust valves that are oil-driven

Solenoids for the position of the exhaust camshaft We chose this particular brand based on Amazon reviews, and both devices were shipped in factory sealed plastic wrap to protect them from the elements (nice touch!). The items were a perfect fit, and the process of installation was quick and painless. I was able to restart driving after clearing the check engine code. The code for the check engine hasn't come back. The problem was resolved with the installation of new solenoids. This is a product that comes highly recommended.
The parts are identical to the ones that came with the vehicle. These were purchased to replace the stock parts on my 2011 Chevy Equinox, which had started to stick and cause the vehicle to stall in certain conditions. I had code P0010, but the problems went away after I replaced these and cleared the code, and the code hasn't returned. Before attempting to replace these, you might want to order the connectors as well, as they are easily broken.
(Intake and Exhaust) These fixed what the dealership wanted to charge me $500 for after I fixed it myself in 10 minutes. When I come to a halt and prepare to take off again, there will be no more stalling or dying. If your equinox is displaying P0100 and P0111 codes, these should resolve the majority, if not all, of your problems.
It's been about two months since it was installed, and everything is working fine. It was exactly what I needed to replace in my 2015 Chevy Equinox to fix the P0014 code that was causing the problem. I only needed to replace the exhaust solenoid, but it's always better to replace both at the same time. I'll keep you updated if any issues arise, but for now, I'd highly recommend these.
P0010 is to be removed. I had it installed the same day I received it, and it fit perfectly. I no longer have the P0010 code, and my truck is idling better. If I run into any problems, I'll let you know.
These were very simple to install and fit perfectly. The car had a rough idle after I installed these. I had to drive the car for a few minutes before everything was back to normal, but after that everything was fine.
My 2009 Saturn Aura XE had a hesitation problem when accelerating, resulting in P0014 and P0010 codes being displayed. The problems vanished after I replaced the two solenoids with these. It drives a lot better now, and I'm not bothered by the annoying (and potentially dangerous) engine hesitation.
