I bought these solenoids because my check engine light was on with DTC p0013 for a bad exhaust timing solenoid, and I couldn't afford to buy a better brand

The light went out after replacing the factory solenoids with these, but the car ran even worse. The solenoids' resistance was correct, so the light turned off, but the solenoids' timing was all over the place, resulting in erratic idle and stalling. I returned the first set and received a replacement, assuming I had received a defective set. The second set was the same. I also returned those and purchased a new aftermarket set from Amazon. The car is now in perfect working order. Simply buy a different brand to save yourself the trouble!.

I only needed the exhaust valve, which I installed yesterday in about 15 minutes. There have been no problems thus far, but it has only been one day. It was extremely simple to put together, and everything went together perfectly. So far, everything has gone well; cross your fingers.

It was simple to put together and appears to be of excellent quality. Individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a box with other items. These were installed in my 2008 Saturn Vue XE to replace the ones that were damaged.

My 12-year-old son installed one of them because they were so simple to set up. You can do this repair without being ripped off by a dealership if you have some basic mechanics knowledge and can look things up on YouTube. It was also extremely well packaged and appeared to be a high-quality product; I've had these installed for over a year and have yet to receive MIL codes, so I'm guessing they'll last.
