There should be a firm lifter and not a spongy one. It comes from Chrysler. During the installation, make sure to line up the cam gears with the marks and torque the assembly to 31 nm when the new rocker arm assembly is installed.

Chrysler 3 - dreaded car of the 1980's. I had a problem with 5 lifters/rocker arms ticking/tapping. These rockers solved my issue and the car is running better than it has in a long time.
