When the phaser malfunctions, a code will be set. Not once have I encountered one that did not. In addition, since they operate according to oil pressure, if that is bad, the timing of the cans will also be off.

The part fits and functions exactly like a factory part. It's a part that is easily installed at home and saves money on other parts that would have normally gone to an auto repair shop. The Cam Phaser wire must be disconnected, and the 10mm bolt holding it in place must be removed The clamp needs to be taken down, and the clamp itself needs to be removed. After that, insert a flat screwdriver into the slot where the hold-down screws are located, and then Prying the cam phaser from the block with the down clamp once it was attached. Make sure the oil is well oiled Put the new ring on the phaser and slide it into place, then refit Glue the clamp to the wall. Those who would like to drive their car may replace the belt, attach the wire, swing the power steering pump back into place, replace the top two bolts, and tighten them.
You can use a Trailblazer or Envoy 4 if you have one. Two of these need to be replaced if your 2L is damaged. When I drove my 04 Envoy at 100k, it had no power and seemed to struggle to accelerate. You have to move the power steering pump out of the way to replace it, but it is not too difficult. The old valve was leaking oil and I needed to replace it with a good quality For the Trailblazer I6, you will need to take out two or three power steering bolts in order to slide out the old unit. As it was, the item that I received fit fine, but it did not have the same appearance as the item I removed and showed The listing on the website indicates this part is the right one for my vehicle, but it doesn't specify which vehicle it is for. Although I installed it, I am not sure if it is working correctly.
This is a very good product for my 2003 GMC I had leaking oil coming out of the sensor, and he handled the problem.
