My diagnostic codes were P0013 and P0014, and I acquired these sensors after discovering the cam position sensor (exhaust) was faulty. A 2014 Malibu was the vehicle I searched for. This came up as a direct replacement, and would be a good match. The parts are not for a 2014 Malibu, not even close. I ended up going to an auto parts chain store and paying a lot more because the car was apart and the issue needed to be.

The correct part that resolved the issue. It is important to remove any type of debris around the old sensors before removing them so that they do not fall into the engine. Don't forget to dab a bit of oil around the orifices as well It is necessary to install the replacement sensor with the ring and not stripe it. It would be better if the old bolt from the old sensor could be used. It looks like they will fit back much easier as they seem to be much more sturdy. I did not receive instructions or warranty paperwork with the product. Because of this, it only gets a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating.

As soon as I got my Pontiac Solstice out of the shop after it was repaired for other problems, it started running rough as if the transmission was failing. It would be much cheaper to use the bolts from your old one, as opposed to going to the parts store. As a result, one bolt snapped off in my motor since it was lighter in weight. I had to drill out the broken bolt, but it seems to be working well so far.
