My diagnostic codes were P0013 and P0014, and I acquired these sensors after discovering the cam position sensor (exhaust) was faulty. Despite the fact that I didn't need to replace the intake sensor, I replaced it at the same time since I was With my diagnostic code reader, I was able to remove the pending codes, but they still appear in the Codes are kept and cleared by themselves when the app is closed. There are no pending codes at this time, however, the check engine light has now turned off. My bike was installed last night and I took it for a short ride. It seemed to work just fine. My laptop was runnin' a little rough when I started it this morning, but it subsided after a minute or two. A 2014 Malibu was the vehicle I searched for. This came up as a direct replacement, and would be a good match. The parts are not for a 2014 Malibu, not even close. I ended up going to an auto parts chain store and paying a lot more because the car was apart and the issue needed to be.
The correct part that resolved the issue. It is important to remove any type of debris around the old sensors before removing them so that they do not fall into the engine. Don't forget to dab a bit of oil around the orifices as well It is necessary to install the replacement sensor with the ring and not stripe it. It would be better if the old bolt from the old sensor could be used. It looks like they will fit back much easier as they seem to be much more sturdy. I did not receive instructions or warranty paperwork with the product. Because of this, it only gets a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating.
As soon as I got my Pontiac Solstice out of the shop after it was repaired for other problems, it started running rough as if the transmission was failing. As I pulled the codes P0700 P0010 and did a search, I found that this was the most likely cause of the Poo10 code so I checked a few auto parts but they were quite expensive, so I searched Amazon and found both for 50% off both. In about ten to fifteen minutes, the software can be installed.
We put it on our 2016 Chevy Equinox and it fit perfectly. With the check engine light on and off multiple times, my car was sputtering and shutting down once. The issue has been resolved and the part fits perfectly now.
This works perfectly for the 2016 Equinox while it has a VVT error code and the check engine light on. The old part was swapped out with no issues, and the mistake was gone on the first start up.
During my research for this project, I came up with the following It was something I was sure I could handle. My vehicle was googled and it came up with this My research led me to videos that walked me through the entire My car was in need of repair, so I contacted local repair shops I estimated that it would cost over $250 to fix it. A check engine code tester cost me $100 and I have been using it since The parts cost $26 and there is no shipping charge For this issue, I would need approximately one hour of my time. Everything seems to be going well.
It would be much cheaper to use the bolts from your old one, as opposed to going to the parts store. As a result, one bolt snapped off in my motor since it was lighter in weight. I had to drill out the broken bolt, but it seems to be working well so far.
