It is true. I purchased it and installed it on my Hummer H3.

Toward the end of the transmission, the tube is sealed with a rubber gasket. Purchasing the tube separately is required as it does not come with it.
Using a wrench, remove the nut on the Put tube on a pulley and Only a small amount of fluid is lost. I don't think it's necessary to replace it.

When I was doing some maintenance on my truck, I found this one broken, so I picked it My 2006 Hummer H3 was able to fit it perfectly. You only need to remove the nut that holds the tube to the engine block and pull this tube out. There is a rubber washer at the bottom of the tranny fluid reservoir which it slides into and out of. It's easy to replace this one simply by pulling up the old one, installing the new one, and then reattaching the nut and tube. I had no fluid spill so had to replace it since there was no fluid spill. The rubber washer I picked up was also in case, but I did not replace it since it looks like the old one is still fine.
I was very pleased with the quality and fit of this part. It is not necessary to make any changes. Make sure to order a new rubber seal or grommet for the installation and plan to service the transmission at the time of installation. There were several pieces of the factory seal that fell into the pan when I was installing it. It is impossible to prevent this from happening by design. There is a transmission filter required on the Hummer H3 There are 5 quarts of Dextron VI, along with the gasket set. The pan bolts should be torqued back at 9 foot-pounds or 180 inch pounds in a crisscross.
After spending about 15 minutes installing the new tube after taking out the old one, it took about 2 minutes to take it out. On the tube there were some new bottom seals to be installed.
It was perfect. I was in heaven. It was perfect. It does not have a YouTube video, so you will have to figure it out on your own. To make it work, I had to put the light beneath the Hummer and point it upward. This allowed me to see where the thing jams in from top to bottom,.
You look good in it.
It was easy to install, and it took less than 10 minutes to complete.
It's an A+.
