Questions & Answers

Is this going to work on a Jeep Wagoneer with a 727 engine?

Most likely, you'll have to bend to make it work.

Will this fit a 47RE with a 97 12v Cummins?

Only the torque flight 727 trans with a small block is shown to fit.

Is it compatible with a 727 transmission from a 1983 Dodge Ram Charger?

Yes. It's possible that you'll need to bend to fit.

I'm trying to put it in a 1969 Dodge Dart with a small block 360 727 engine. This isn't going to work in the slightest. Were you able to secure it to the bell housing with a bolt?

On a 1968 dart with 340 SB and a TF 727, I mounted one. It was an excellent solution. The bell housing was bolted to the half-way up tab. The only issue is that the top is too close to the blower motor, but otherwise everything worked perfectly.

This product is AMAZING
5/5

It literally saved my life. PERFECTLY designed and built. br>br>Fits my 1987 318 like a glove. br>Has a nice locking top, and the entire thing feels SUPER well made and sturdy. br>br>It's worth noting that this isn't the stock length; in fact, it's nearly a foot shorter than the OEM tube and dipstick. It's fine because it comes with a matching dipstick, but don't expect to be able to use a different dipstick, and expect to reach in a little further than usual when checking levels.

It's a perfect fit
5/5

It was perfect for a 1966 Coronet with a 440 engine transplanted from a 1966 Corvette and a 727 big block transmission. One of the transmission bell housing bolts was precisely bolted up. To clear the bolt down flange, we had to grind a small amount off. We'd tried everything else but it didn't work. Amazon is here to help!.

Not all A727-equipped vehicles are compatible with this accessory

This item did not meet the requirements for the job. On a 1965 C-, hit the heater blower motor. Mopar firewall on the body.

It's not going to work out
3/5

D100 is a large block. The unit is nice, but it will not fit a D100 with a big block. It becomes lodged directly beneath the blower motor box. There's no way it'll work out. After attempting to bend it to fit, I discovered this. Without a bending machine, this would have been impossible, and the part would have cost nearly $50.

My transmission had been leaking for years, and I was able to get it fixed
5/5

There is no o-ring in this dip stick. ring, but a boot for sealing. For the first time in 20 years, I was able to fix a leak on my 727 torque flite. It has made me very happy.
