Questions & Answers

Is it going to work with the Champion 3500 Inverter Generator?

It was too big for my Champion 3100. It was too small to fit a 3500, so I doubt it will fit.

Is it compatible with the predator 3500 inverter generator?

It fit my body perfectly. I wish it was a smidge longer than it is, but aside from that it is 100% a 100% a 100% a 100% a 100% a 100% a 100% a 10

Is this compatible with the 4700 generac? It's a 2008 RV, and the threads appear to be 1" in diameter. ?

Simply take a chance. It isn't prohibitively expensive; however, when you first use it, make certain that the entire line is identical.

Is it compatible with the Predator 212cc engine, which I have in a wood shipper?

I checked three of my small engines, including my 2200cc Rainier portable generator, and the unit has a standard pipe thread pattern that most small engines have.

The magnet shattered and landed in the environment

Fits the Westinghouse igen2200 perfectly and performs as expected! This was purchased to accompany a new inverter generator that I had recently purchased
5/5

The magnet is small, but it has a strong magnetic field. The dipstick is about the same length as the original, and the head barely makes contact with the plastic cover on the outside. br>br>When I first put in the oil, I installed this on my generator and ran it for an hour under load before changing the oil. The metal dust attracted to the end of the dipstick, as well as the dust metal that formed a ring at the other pole of the magnet on the dipstick shaft, is depicted in this image. br>br>This product appears to do what it says it does, and I am pleased with the results. br>A few pointers on how to add or dump oil.
1. When adding, checking, or replacing oil, place a paper towel under the spout. It saves some time and effort when it comes to cleanup.
2. To change the oil, you don't need to purchase a screw-in spout. Use a milk jug or cut the top off a water or soda bottle, stuff a paper towel under the oil fill neck, place bottle over neck, and tilt. br>br>Because the dipstick is metal, it will get very hot. Just be wary of checking or changing your oil right after running your generator.

It does what it says
5/5

This was purchased to go with my Aipower SUA2300i inverter generator. My generator had about 30 minutes of run time since new before I put this dipstick in, so it fits perfectly. I inserted the dipstick and let it run for approximately 15 minutes. The bottom of the dipstick was covered in black crud when I pulled it out. I took it out of the bag and wiped it down with a napkin. The black stuff on the napkin is what was stuck to the magnet, as you can see in the photo. This does exactly what it says, and at less than $10, it's a cheap way to protect an expensive generator. br>br>A Generac GP3300 generator is also in my possession. This dipstick is also suitable for use with the Generac.

For a Predator 3500, this is an insufficient length
5/5

According to the item description, this will work with a Predator generator. While it might fit a smaller Predator generator, it's too short for the Predator 3500. The threads are correct, so if you don't mind a shorter dipstick, this item is a good buy. I wanted the longer one to be able to dip deeper into the oil and catch more nore fragments. A more precise dipstick level was also something I desired. Despite the fact that I returned it, I am giving it 5 stars because it is technically advertised for WEN generators, is well-made, and represents a good value.

The blue Powerhorse 2000 watt generators from Northern Tools worked flawlessly
5/5

The blue Powerhorse 2000 watt generators from Northern Tools worked flawlessly. I have two Honda 2000ui's, and a friend who is new to RVing inquired about my Gens. Because he is only tailgating and not camping like we do, I advised him to save some doe and go with the Powerhorse brand. He also inquired about my Mag dip sticks, to which I explained what they were for and why they were necessary, particularly during break-ups. So we went online and purchased these using my account, and they fit perfectly and work flawlessly with his Powerhorse generators. So he's happy, and I just wanted to share in case anyone else has that brand and is curious if it works with Powerhorse generators.

My Westinghouse iGen2500CAMO 2200W Portable Inverter Generator is compatible with it
5/5

This magnetic oil dipstick is threaded correctly and appears to fit my iGen2500 generator perfectly. I just got the dipstick, and it arrived sooner than expected (yay!). I haven't tested the generator yet, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work fine; if it leaks or fails to perform as expected, I'll let you know. I'm also interested in seeing how much metal it can extract from the new oil.

Fits all clones of the Yamaha EF2000iS, including the Duromax XP2000EH
5/5

It's a great plug, but make sure you get the right size; it fits Yamaha EF2000iS clones, but not Honda EU2000Is, as far as I know. After the generator has run, the plug will become very hot, so use caution. br>br>I also replaced the original Chinese sparkplug with an NGK BPR7HIX Iridium sparkplug. Finally, a low-cost hour meter was added.
