When installing cylinder heads on your LS engine, you'll need these.

All LS/LT Series Engines from Generations 3 to 5 are compatible.

There are enough dowel pins in this package to install two cylinder heads.

LS engines can also benefit from stock replacement cylinder head bolts.

Yes, they are compatible with the 4th generation. 8/ 5.

Is this compatible with a 304 engine from International?

No, they aren't going to fit.

Is this going to fit my LS1 Corvette from 1997?

ALL LS engines from Generations III and IV are compatible with this kit.

Will these fit an LT1 from the second generation?

No way! The solid dowel used in the first and second generation SBCs/LT1s is much smaller.

LS engines can't use it because it's too small

While they appear to be LS cylinder head dowels, I believe they are either BBC dowels or have been machined incorrectly because they are too loose. A properly fitting LS cylinder head dowel should only require a light tap to secure it in place. Even when I tried to open the gap, they remained loose. I had to look elsewhere because the risk of using this low-cost part was not worth it.

I received these today and was pleasantly surprised to find that they were identical to the GM dowels I was replacing. They were as tight as they should have been, and I had to hammer tap them into the block. br> The old ones may have been loose, but these fit exactly like the GM factory dowels on 3/2/2020.

Make sure you use a flat head screwdriver to expand them. They have a lot of power.

LQ9 iron block is a perfect fit. The old one had a lot of rust on it. I probably could have reused it, but I couldn't stand seeing them next to the gleaming block.

If you wanted, you could easily open them up even more

They are a little loose in comparison to the originals, but you could easily open them up a bit more if you wanted to. They were adequate for my needs.
