It was because the wires broke off the cables inside my WIF sensor and the plastic was very brittle that I purchased this plug. The sensor did not trigger any alerts or DTCs so I can safely delete it. Having this plug made of aluminum and fitting a sensor wrench perfectly is great. However, if you don't have a sensor wrench, you can use it with a ratchet and your square drive. There were no burrs on the threads of the plug. O- still in use On a WIF sensor, you would use the ring.
I also found a crack on my brand new OEM, AcDelco spare WIF sensor. As soon as I saw this plug, I ordered it. Throw out those cheap, ineffective.
There is no real excitement when it comes to the plug. Neither does it leak nor does it fit well. For what it is, it is a bit pricey. A 2001 Duramax was equipped with this system.
This program does what is expected of it.
