55mm
That is correct. Just keep in mind that, even with this tool, removing the crank pulley bolt can be difficult.
Any Honda 2 should be able to use it. 7 3. 0 or 3.
This is an excellent tool. When it came to changing the timing belt and water pump on my 2007 Honda Odyssey, it was a breeze. I'm so glad I put in the time and effort. My son, who works for Honda in Florida, recommended that I purchase one.

It's a tad on the big side. On my 2005 Civic, it worked perfectly. It did, however, fit rather loosely on the pulley and would occasionally fall out on its own, making it difficult to use. Aside from that, everything went smoothly. br>br>Just a heads up to anyone who needs to use this: the crank bolt is incredibly tight, which is why I needed a 6-foot pipe.
I needed to replace the timing belt and water pump on my wife's 2012 Honda Pilot, and the job would have been impossible without this handy tool and a powerful impact wrench. For such a low price, you can't beat saving yourself the hassle of keeping the crankshaft pulley in one place; if I still have the vehicle in 7 years, I'll most likely use it again.
It is very good at what it does. The harmonic balancer fits it a little loosely. I had to remove the lower left engine mount to gain enough clearance to install it on my 1999 Civic EX. The engine could then be lowered far enough to fit the tool in place, and raised high enough to keep the tool from falling out while I got the 17mm socket - Extension for 3/4" drive – Breaker bar is driven into place with a 3/4-inch drive. Those tools, as well as this one, were essential to the job's success. I replaced the engine mount because it was ripped in the first place and was readily available locally.
With an impact, the Honda crank bolt would not budge, causing a 1/2" ratchet to explode and an extension to snap. Finally, attach a 4-foot pipe to the wrench's back. It managed to free itself.
After that, I abandoned it at a junkyard. I came here to buy a new one. And the quality of this one is excellent!.
On a 2005 Odyssey, it was a little loose, but it worked for removing the crank pulley bolt. I had a breaker bar attached to it and it was leaning against the engine mount on the side. Although the bolt was tough, it was not as tough as the main nut on the driver's side drive axle.
The price was unbeatable, and the tool arrived ahead of schedule. Though it fit a little loosely into the crankshaft pulley, it was made of high quality materials. Torque prevents the crankshaft from turning, so it's not a big deal. br>Getting your hands on this tool is only half the battle. I broke three 1/2" impact grade socket extensions the first time I used it. Frustrated, I took the Honda to a local mechanic who used an impact wrench to remove the crankshaft bolt. Despite having a 1100 ft-high ceiling, They couldn't get the bolt out with the ib impact, so I used the crankshaft tool, breaker bars, and a floor jack on the third attempt. It finally gave way after about an hour of jacking and hosing the bolt with liquid wrench. It felt as if I had just won the World Series on my own. When retorquing bolts to factory specs, a pulley tool is essential. Despite all of the abuse it received while attempting to remove the crankshaft bolt, the tool never warped, snapped, or otherwise became useless. I would strongly suggest it.
I was hesitant at first to purchase it, but after using it, I would not hesitate to do so again. It does exactly what it claims.
