Can this unit be used with the stock push rods?

No, these aren't stock lifters. You'll need to get some shorter push rods.

We don't sell a kit that only includes the cam and pushrods.

I'm the proud owner of a 1967 396 with stock heads. Is everything going to fit together without the use of a machine?

Yes. Although we can't guarantee piston-to-valve clearance, this cam kit should work fine in most stock applications.
