It was a very exciting day when I got it installed for the first time. To spruce up my Jeep Wrangler, I thought this would be a great idea. While Sport mode was cool, I could not justify the loss of gas mileage on my daily commute on account of the device's cost. In City mode, I felt I was getting better gas mileage, but the difference was not much for the price of the device. There was no way you could possibly compete with Sport plus mode. Still, because of its design, I think it works better on a track than in This product would have stayed in my possession if the selling price was half of what I paid. But the price point just wasn't worth it to me.

This is man. I find this absurd. According to its description, it does exactly what it claims to do. Especially since I drive a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JLU sport, this thing makes driving it seem like a completely different experience. A quick install is complete after the vehicle has been turned off for approximately 5 minutes. I thought it was impossible to slide this connector forward until I pulled out on the red tab on the coupling. That's why I spent 10 minutes messing with it before realizing that it was possible. As a default, the game will start in “city" mode which feels similar to the “stock” mode. This thing should be at Sport+ level 4 and oh my god this is badass At the slightest touch of the pedal, you will feel those RPMs jump to like 6k. To familiarize yourself with all the different sensitivity levels, I suggest doing it in an open lot. There are dramatic differences between the two.

It is perfect for the response of my foot in City setting +1. Using the Sport setting is much more sensitive, but City eliminates the need to 'floor it' every single time you want to adjust your speed. Also, great instructions-I tried another product that did not tell me to keep the keys away from the car for at least 35 feet during installation (if you don't you'll get an error message). That's an excellent job on the instructions -- and make sure that the keys are placed 35' away from the vehicle during installation. It is easy to set up - Plug in two more plugs, and pull one plus with help of small flat screwdriver. Once the wire is down through the steering column hole, drop it through the hole, and attach it with the help of a flashlight. Once you pick your settings, you can use the control panel (I put it to the right of the steering wheel) or Bluetooth. I'm having a blast.

As a result of this, the check engine light will turn on and the throttle pedal will be stuck in Using my scan tablet at work, I was able to figure out why it was causing a problem. The pedal throttle position has a very small window of electrical resistance the ECM needs to measure. There is somewhat more resistance in the circuit when the cable is connected to the pedal, causing the vehicle's ECM to see a higher resistance than normal, resulting in a Check Engine light and voltage light. It had to be unplugged in order for me to drive. Now I was extremely excited on my very first day with it. On my Jeep Wrangler, it would seem to be a great way to improve throttle control. Although the difference in City and Eco mode is not as noticeable as I would have hoped for the price of the phone. While Sport mode was great, I'm not sure that I see the point when sport and sport plus are very little different from each other. There's a nice bump in throttle in Sport plus mode, but it seems more suitable for when you're starting from a dead stop and want to accelerate quickly.

A headache that costs a lot of money

The program advertised that it would do a lot, so I wanted it to be great. The unit came on after I unhooked the negative connection and hooked it up to the harness above the gas pedal, but my 2020 Jeep Wrangler gave no throttle at all when I pressed The instructions were followed, I watched videos on YouTube, and I thought that I did everything correctly. We had to have the vehicle towed for $250, brought to the dealership to get a new gas pedal installed for $466, and were left with.

Initially, I wasn't sure if the product would perform in the manner My attempt to test the sport+ on my way home from the mechanic proved it to me. As a result, there was no lag in the jeep haul. If you want it to stay on city mode, that's great. In each gear, Sport + wanted to rev all the way to 6k. It was rather easy to connect, so I'm pretty happy about that. a good product that works as intended my only complaint is that I wish it were a little more affordable - maybe around $150.

The best accessory for a Jeep Wrangler

This is a performance booster that is second to none. Getting on the highway feels sluggish in a stock Jeep JL since it has a delay on the accelerator. The snow mode would probably be preferred for off-road conditions, but it is not so enjoyable when driving on paved roads. With the Pedal Commander, I no longer have to worry about that delay, which makes my Jeep so much more fun to drive. Buying this product is well worth the price for JL owners. The plugs look identical to the stock plugs on my Jeep and the product is well built. I had no problems installing it. It is important to leave the door open with the key fob at least 35 feet from the car for at least 15 minutes before installing the remote. Now that I have it set to Sport-2, the Jeep responds right away when I press the accelerator, and it makes a big It will be turned off if it is snowing/off if it is not Those conditions will affect the rest of the time, but not the road conditions.

Does work, but it is not worth the effort and the price

Let me start by saying it does exactly what it says it will do. Although the price is unreasonable for what it does, it is worth the investment. They did differ from each other when I tried all the modes. A second thing about that statement is it said to remove the battery every time it is taken to a dealer. Taking 15 minutes to uninstall and another 15 minutes to install, the process takes total of 45 minutes. There just isn't any point to that hassle and have to worry whether or not your warranty will cover the repair if you are in an emergency. I believe $150 would be sufficient. I don't think $299 is a lot.
